Congratulations!!

Image
Congrats to . . . 1. Suzy, my cousin, for guessing the name before the last letter was released!  She was the first to send in the correct answer! 2. Chris and Paige; Chad and Ashley; and Lindsay for sending in correct answers on the blog!  Great job to Paige for being creative in her posting! 3. Ashley V. for texting in the correct answer! 4. Mrs. Donna for knowing before the last letter was posted and just heard the letters during choir practice! 5. Larry Swords for correctly guessing through a verbal guess! Charles Elliot McMillen will be joining us in a few short months!  It sounds even closer when you count it in weeks – 15 more weeks to go! Charles – Justin’s father and grandfather both had the first name of Charles!  Charles means strong, manly; valiant one. Elliot – Jehovah is my God – When we first talked about the name, we were still talking about other options until we found the meaning!  We love the meaning of his name! Thank you...

The moment we have all anticipated

Here it is – the next letter – the final letter Before I begin, I would like to say congratulations to one individual who sent a guess via email prior to this post with the correct information.  We will wait until after the guessing period to reveal who this was.  I want to protect their identity so no cheating will transpire. Guessing period will begin immediately.  Guesses should be submitted via comments on this blog post.  Guessing will be over Wednesday evening prior to Prayer Meeting (7pm).   Congratulations and the reveal will follow the deadline.  ** To post a comment, click on comments.  Type your comment in the box that says “Leave your comment”.   Type in the word verification in the next box.  If you have a Google account, click beside Google account (you will later be prompted for user name).  If you don’t have  a Google account, click on anonymous and you can type in your name.   Then click...

Light Painting!! (and another letter)

Image
Justin subscribes to lots of RSS feeds and is constantly learning new things.  Recently he discovered the coolest photography technique that I have ever seen!  Light Painting!  I am so very addicted and tonight it wasn’t so cold that bundling was a necessity, so it was fun and not bitterly cold.   We spent over an hour at the new house playing with pictures and drawing with flashlights.  This fall when working on the house we were talking about when the house would be completed.  I commented that it would be nice to be able to put a Christmas tree in my new house.  Well, the verdict is still out on a real Christmas tree, but here is a Christmas tree in our new house. Then we added presents!   Justin drew himself “discoing” down the stairs! And lastly, the next letter of Mini Mac’s Name!

Letter (Part 4)

A new letter is here, but first the BABY!  What a beautiful picture of Mini Mac!  Justin calls this his “racing pose”.  Clearly he is holding an imaginary steering wheel in his hands!  We love our sweet baby boy! The first consonant!
