So, I’m a little behind on my blogging.   I have a funny story about our Natchez trip, but tonight I want to skip ahead to today!  Today is our4 year wedding anniversary!  Although, the  years haven’t been easy, they have been a blast!  Our trip to Natchez was our anniversary trip and we bought a new camera for our anniversary present to each other.  But today was a great day – even with no presents! I came home from school to find some beautiful daises!  (Which, Justin says he  tried not to pick over 1 or 2 from any single yard. :)  In case you don’t know – Gerbers are my favorite!  AND they were the main flower for our wedding!  Yeah – I know my husband’s the best! Our night continued with my ideal date.  We discussed going to Boure or Old Venice, but settled on Pizza Hut.   Drastic difference, I know, but this was the best! We ordered our 1/2 BBQ, 1/2 Super Supreme Pizza from Pizza Hut online.  Stopped at the store to buy popcorn and coke.   Picked up our Pizza and came

Spring is in

Spring is in the air, the ground, the colors, and the big smile on my face!  I’m so excited that Spring is beginning to show itself.  I took a few pics of some buttercups and hyacinths last week.  The first blooms of the season.     Justin and I left Saturday morning = off for Spring Break OR (Where we are) Spring Pilgrimage.  We are in Natchez for Spring Break!   But don’t let me get ahead of myself.  We stayed in Jackson on Saturday night to break up the trip a little.  We ate at a wonderful place called Biaggi’s  - A Delicious Italian Restaurant!  I’m sure it is a chain and I’m probably behind on having never heard of it before. But is was so good!  I ate slowly just to savor every bite!! The portion size was perfect – just enough to get full and want for nothing, but not miserably full so you wish you hadn’t have eaten!     Then we came on to Natchez!  We visited 3 homes today.  Our favorite was Elgin.   It is a few miles away a tucked beautifully in acres of magnolia trees!
