Paparazzi
It was a weekend to remember. Not because we went on an expensive vacation or out to eat at a luxurious restaurant. But it was just us doing just family things. If someone had offered to follow us around to capture every moment, it would have been amazing!
Sunday was a wonderful morning in Sunday School and Worship. Great fellowship with fellow believers. Followed by dinner at the Hamiltons and birthday celebrations.
Justin's birthday was Friday, and he believes if you are having a birthday, it should be celebrated! He took off work Friday and planned a #daddyday with Elliot. We went on a small shopping spree the night before and come home with this.
Along with all the fixings for smoking a boston butt.
Which leads to Friday morning. I left for school with one boy in the bed and the other preparing a boston butt. This is the first pic of the day.
Justin has been working for several .... Well since we bought the grill, to regulate grill temps. My boys taking a 'selfie' with Elliot's best 'cheese' face.
Then he got serious with the camera.
We got into an icy cold pool for a few minutes after school and played outside the rest of the day. And this was the result of a great day!
Saturday morning was another great day as a family, we had the breakfast special - your choice of cereal and then headed to town. A family trip that resulted in no purchase, but enjoyed lunch together.
Our evening ended with a lovely meal at the Graham's. Crawfish from Hurricane and homemade ice cream made with REAL milk. Elliot enjoyed playing with Mary Hatley and Kendall. Justin and I enjoyed adult conversation with Beth and Tree. This is the only pic of the evening. #spicysausage
The weekend continued with a wonderful dinner with Justin's family. Everyone was there, fellowship was wonderful, Elliot picked and ate fresh English peas, and we stayed til dark.
This is the kind of weekend that makes summer so awesome! Families together, everyday outside good eating, and lots of smiles! These pictures don't do it justice and quite frankly neither of my words. But this weekend was one to remember.
Happy Birthday, Justin!
