Life in Ecru
Life in Ecru, fun and exciting as usual. So, we basically have finished work in our bathroom. We have some handles that don’t line up like the rest of the handles do, so we have to work on these, but that is all. We painted a light tan color with dark brown cabinets, and accented with a turquoise/blue and brown shower curtain. We are really becoming good painters and hating it more and more. We have some other painting we would like to do in the house, but are trying to figure out how much our time is worth. Know any good painters?
We are enjoying springtime. It is so great to finally get the yard mowed for the first time! I love to have a good looking yard (even though my isn’t quite perfect yet). And the smell of a freshly tilled garden. Justin’s uncle came and tilled the garden up today and we are ready to plant. We are hoping to have success on the salsa this year! Watch the blog for our first crop of the year! (I know we are looney!)
School is crazy, but it’s my own fault. We started this competition last year called FLUGTAG. I think I mentioned it a few days ago in the blog. Our competition is Saturday, May 9! You should come! The students will be performing skits, and flying their “gliders” – We will have door prizes and lots of fun! Most of my students have finished these this week, but it has been crazy. They have worked so extremely hard.
Lastly – We are “dega-bound”! Leaving tomorrow for Birmingham and will have great seats at Talladega! Pictures to follow next week!
